Removal and installation door trim (Skoda Superb B6)

Front doors

1. Unhook the switch block (1 on the accompanying illustration) in the direction of the arrows using a plastic wedge and disconnect the connectors of its electrical wiring.



2. Remove the screws (2 and 3 in the accompanying illustration).

Note: When installing, tighten the bolts (2) to 1.1 Nm and the bolts (3) to 4 Nm.

3. Unhook the overlay (1 on the accompanying illustration) speaker and the keys of the single lock, disconnect the connector (2) and unscrew the bolt (arrow) or (1 in illustration 18.2). When installing, tighten the bolt to 1.1 Nm.



4. Carefully separate the door trim from the retainers with a plastic wedge, disconnect the connectors of the inner release handle illumination, immobilizer diode and open door signal. Disconnect the cable from the inner release handle and remove the door trim.

Rear doors

5. The procedure for removing the rear door trim is the same as for removing the front door trim. The fastening details of the rear door trim are shown in the accompanying illustration. The sunshade can only be removed after removing the door trim.

Tailgate

6. To remove the trim (5 on the accompanying illustration) luggage compartment lids for Hatchback models (lower part of the tailgate) unscrew the bolt (2, 2.5 Nm) of the handle (3) and remove the fasteners (4).



7. To remove the top cover (1 on the accompanying illustration) upper part of the tailgate of the Hatchback models, press its fasteners out of the tailgate. The trim (2) of the upper level brake light is glued to the glass of the tailgate. To remove the lower trim (5), unhook its fasteners (4).





8. If necessary, after removing both trims of the upper part of the tailgate, you can remove the trims of the intermediate hinges of the tailgate of the Hatchback models (see accompanying illustrations). When installing, tighten the screws of the pads with a torque of 2.5 Nm.
