10.1. Location of grooves on the camshaft in the TDC position
2. Remove the upper timing belt cover (see Section 7).
3. Follow the steps in paragraphs 6-10 Section 9, if it hasn't already been done.
4. Follow the steps described in paragraphs 12-15 Section 9.
5. Install the camshaft sprocket onto the camshaft. While holding the sprocket from turning with the T10172 tool, tighten its mounting bolt with a force of 50 Nm to be able to turn the camshaft. Turn the crankshaft 90° counterclockwise to prevent damage to the valves when adjusting the timing phases.
6. Turn the camshaft so that the grooves in it are located as shown in Illustration 10.1. Insert the locking device T10414 into the cylinder head cover until it stops and tighten the bolt by hand (1 in illustration 9.11).
7. Perform the actions described in paragraphs 30-39 Section 9.
8. Install the non-return valve and tighten its mounting bolts to 8 Nm. Connect the coolant hoses to the valve.
9. Install the engine oil pan (see Section 13) and screw in the service hole plug in the cylinder block with a force of 30 Nm.
10. Fill the engine cooling system (see Chapter 3).
11. Further installation is carried out in reverse order.
