Removal
1. Drain the coolant (for more details, see the relevant section in this chapter).
2. Remove the timing belt from the camshaft pulley (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter "Diesel engines").
3. Unscrew the fastening screw (3) shown in the figure below, then remove the cooling system valve for the cylinder head.
4. Unscrew the mounting screws (arrows), remove the water pump assembly (1), as shown in the figure below.

Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Replace all O-rings.
1. Wash and clean the contact surfaces under the sealing rings.
2. Moisten the sealing rings with coolant.
3. Install the timing belt (for more details, see the relevant section in the chapter "Diesel engines").
4. Fill the cooling system with coolant.
