Removal
1. Loosen the mounting screws (1) and (3) shown in the figure below.
2. Unlock the latches (arrows) and remove the cover (2) as shown in the figure below.
3. Release the water hose (2) shown in the figure below from the racks.
4. Unlock the fasteners (arrows) and remove the upper part of the air intake (1), as shown in the figure below.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (2) from the mass air flow sensor as shown in the figure below.
6. Disconnect the vacuum hose (4) shown in the figure below.
7. Loosen the fastening clamp (3) shown in the figure below, then disconnect the air duct pipe.
8. Remove the air filter housing assembly (1) as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Note: Prevent oil products from coming into contact with the intake system pipes and hoses.
- Disconnect the drain hose (arrow) from the air filter housing as shown in the figure below.
- Clear connection.
- When connecting the air duct pipe to the air filter housing, it is necessary that the arrows applied to the pipe and the housing lie on the same line (arrows), as shown in the figure below.
- Place the air filter housing on the battery support plate and press it until the latch clicks into place.
- Press down on the air filter housing again to ensure it is securely fastened.
