Tightening torques for threaded connections of the exhaust manifold assembly with turbocharger



The nuts securing the turbocharger assembly to the exhaust manifold are tightened in three steps. The nuts must be tightened starting from the inner ones and then in a spiral, moving towards the outer fastening nuts.


  • First approach: tighten the mounting nuts with a tightening torque of 11 Nm.
  • Second approach: tighten the g mounting nuts to a tightening torque of 22 Nm.
  • Third approach: tighten the g mounting nuts to a tightening torque of 22 Nm.
