Plastic fenders are made of polypropylene. They are fixed under the front fenders and protect the lower surface of the fenders from abrasive wear. Of course they are not waterproof.
Each of the plastic fender liner is secured with nine bolts. All bolts have torx slots. Three of these bolts are fixed in holes along the edge of the fender cutout, two bolts to the front bumper, one bolt to the fixing plate, another bolt to the suspension shock absorber bracket and two bolts to the front wheel fender. Of these connections, plastic cap nuts are screwed onto seven bolts (section A–A, position 2). Two more, which attach the fender liner to the front bumper, are self-tapping and screwed into elastic nuts - expandable (section В–В, position 3).
Approximately the same fenders on the rear wheels.
