The covers of these mirrors are made in the color of the car. In case of damage, the mirror cover can be removed by loosening two bolts and pulling up, and replaced with another one. The bolts can be accessed from the bottom of the mirror.

Position control, i.e. tilting the mirror in two planes, is solved by miniature electric motors built into the fixed part of the tilt element. Between it and the moving part there is an anti-dust cuff. The gears of the motors engage the racks (both are made of plastic), fixed on the movable part. When the gear is turned, the rack moves and the mirror tilts. The control unit for the right and clear mirrors is located in the trim of the inner door handle on the driver's side (in the place where the manual mirror control handle is located). The control unit has two small buttons, with which you can select control of either the left or right mirror, then a larger button, which can be tilted in two mutually perpendicular axes, in accordance with the direction of pressing the button, the mirror tilts.

Electrically controlled mirrors do not have handles for manual control.

Heating is solved by means of a heating resistance coil, inserted into the support plate under the mirror glass. It is activated simultaneously with the switching on of the heating of the glass of the folding lid of the luggage compartment.
