Transverse wall of the passenger compartment - mounting plate
1 - mounting plate; 2 - bolt; 3 - sealing mastic
The transverse wall of the cabin is a steel stamping with recesses to increase rigidity. In some places, bolts are welded to it for attaching subsets. After assembly, it is applied to the transverse wall of the body from the cab side and strengthened with ten bolts (with hexagon head). Before installation, adhesive mastic is applied to the edge along the contour (section А1–А1), sealing the plate after fastening to the frame (section A–A). The cross wall can be of several types, depending on the technology of assembly with the body or on some other defining characteristics of the car.
