Remove the driver and front passenger side deflectors. Unscrew the screws securing the switching unit from the central tubular frame and leave the switching unit in the pipe for now. Remove the steering column from the central tube. Disconnect the wiring clamps and ground connections from the central tubular frame. Unscrew the screws securing the fan and heater. Remove the wiper arms and motor. Remove the water drain box casing. Unscrew screw "1" (20 Nm) in the water drain box on the driver's side.
Press out the notched pins "2". Remove the bee rivets. Remove the adapter "3". Remove the air duct "1". Unscrew the nuts "3" (20 Nm). Unscrew the screw "4" (20 Nm).
Remove the central tubular frame "2". At the same time, disconnect the switching unit from it.
Installation
Installation in reverse order.
Note: Before installation, check all fastening elements for damage and replace if necessary.
