Removal and installation the driver's door trim (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers. Remove the trim "2" of the electric window lifter and disconnect the connectors -3 and 4-. Disconnect the trim "6" using the dismantling wedge -T10383, 3409-. On the lower side, turn the nut "7" by 90 with a SW10 wrench; and release the locking tab. Unscrew screws "5" (4 Nm).

Caution! When releasing the door trim, there is a risk of damaging the fastening elements! To prevent this, when removing, it is essential to observe the specified provisions and the sequence of work for disconnecting the clamps.

Detach the door trim from the clamps in the sequence shown. For this, use, for example, a wide plastic wedge "T10383/1", "T10383".



Remove the door trim from the window opening upwards. On the inside of the door trim, pull out the drive cable "3" from the drive of the inner door handle "2" in the direction of the "arrow" and remove the tail "1" from the clamp. In accordance with the vehicle configuration, disconnect the electrical connectors from the door trim panel.

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: Before installation, check all fastening elements for damage and replace if necessary.
