1. Fuel supply module: with fuel pump "G6"; checking the fuel pump electrical system in Guided Troubleshooting; after installation, fill the car with at least 5 liters of fuel; after installing the fuel supply module, it is necessary to cut off the plug on the fuel supply module fitting in order to connect the fuel line of the independent heater

2. O-ring: replace; install dry

3. Ring nut, 110 Nm: loosen and tighten with wrench -T30101 (3087)-

Note: Make sure that the connector bracket on the fuel supply module flange is not damaged when loosening and tightening the ring nut.


4. Fuel supply line: to the fuel filter; is secured to the fuel tank with clamps; don't overdo it; to disconnect, press the nipple lock; unlock and disconnect the quick release coupling; when installing the pressure and return lines, follow the arrows on the connecting flange; insert until it clicks into place with a distinct sound; press the hose onto the fitting again and then pull the hose back to check that the quick release coupling is properly secured

5. Fuel pump control unit "J538": check in Guided Fault Finding



6. Electrical connector: fuel pump control unit "J538"; make sure that the fixation is secure and check that the connector is properly secured by pulling on it

7. Electrical connector; fuel booster pump "G6"; make sure that the fixation is secure and check that the connector is properly secured by pulling on it

8. Electrical connector: fuel level sensor "G"; make sure that the fixation is secure and check that the connector is properly secured by pulling on it

9. Return fuel line: from the engine; is secured to the fuel tank with clamps; don't overdo it; to disconnect from the flange, press the coupling lock; when installing the pressure and return lines, follow the arrows on the connecting flange; insert until it clicks into place with a distinct sound; press the hose onto the fitting again and then pull the hose back to check that the quick release coupling is properly secured
