Turn off the ignition.

If the fuel filter needs to be removed only due to tightness

Disconnect the fuel supply lines "1" and "2". Unlock and disconnect the quick-release coupling. Remove the fuel lines "1" and "2" from the bracket "arrow" on the expansion tank of the cooling system "3".

Unscrew screws "2". Unscrew nut "1".

Unlock the "arrow" bracket and remove the fuel lines "1".

Version with water level sensor "G120": disconnect the connector on the water level sensor "1". Move the wiring harness to the side.

If you need to open the fuel filter

Observing the specified sequence, unscrew the screws "arrows" from "1" to "5". Collect the fuel that leaked during removal. Remove the upper part of the fuel filter "1" from the fuel filter housing "2". Set aside the upper part of the fuel filter "1" with the fuel lines connected.

If the fuel filter needs to be replaced

Disconnect fuel hoses "3" to "5". Use spring clamp pliers to open the spring clamps. Unscrew bolts "2". Unscrew nut "1". Version with water level sensor "G120": disconnect the connector on water level sensor "1". Remove the fuel filter. Catch the fuel that leaked out during removal.
