Operate the panoramic sliding and tilting sunroof (further in brief: lift-and-slide sunroof) only when the ignition is on and the outside temperature is at least -20°C. After the ignition is switched off, the sliding/tilting sunroof can be operated for approximately 10 minutes. Only after the driver's door or the front passenger's door is it no longer possible to operate the sliding/tilting sunroof.
Caution! Always close the sliding/tilting sunroof before disconnecting the battery terminals. The sliding/tilting sunroof may not function after disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery. In this case, set the rotary switch to position A, pull the recess downwards and forwards and hold it. After about 10 seconds, the sliding/tilting sunroof will open and close again. Only then can the rotary switch be released. The sunblind may not function after disconnecting and then reconnecting the battery. In this case, set the switch to position A, press and hold button G. After about 10 seconds, the sunblind will open and close again. Only then can the rotary switch be released.

Comfortable position
Turn the switch to position C. When the sliding/tilting sunroof is in the comfort position, the intensity of wind noise is reduced.
Partial opening
Turn the switch to position D.
Full opening
Turn the switch to position B and hold it (position without fixation).
Lifting the hatch up
Turn the switch to position A. Press the control in area E upwards, towards the roof.
Closing
Turn the switch to position A. Pull the switch by the notch E down and forward.
Force limitation
The lift and slide sunroof has a closing force limitation function. The lift and slide sunroof stops and moves back a few centimeters if any obstacle (for example, ice) prevents it from closing. The sliding and lifting sunroof can be closed completely without any force limitation. To do this, pull the rotary switch with the recess E downwards and forwards until the sunroof is completely closed.

The sun blind can be opened or closed using the keys.
Opening
To open completely, briefly press the F key. To open to the desired position, press and hold the F key. After releasing the key, the opening process stops.
Closing
To close completely, briefly press the G key. To close to the desired position, press and hold the G key. After releasing the key, the closing process stops.
Comfortable control of the sliding and lifting sunroof
The sliding/tilting sunroof can be operated by locking or unlocking with the key and using sensor 1 of the KESSY system.
Closing
Press the key
with the symbol on the key and hold it down or hold the key in the driver's door lock in the locking position, or hold your finger against the KESSY sensor 1. When the locking process is stopped or when the KESSY sensor 1 is released, the closing process is immediately interrupted.
Lifting the hatch up
Press the key
with the symbol on the key and hold it down.
Note: It is not possible to open the sliding/tilting sunroof using the comfort control function.
