Attention! Mirrors with automatic dimming (electrochromic mirrors) contain liquid electrolyte, which may leak if the mirror is damaged. Leaked electrolyte may cause irritation of the skin, eyes and respiratory system.

Caution! Exterior mirrors equipped with an electric folding mechanism must not be folded or unfolded manually, otherwise the electric mechanism may be damaged.

Note: The automatic dimming of the mirror will only function properly if the rear window sunshade is stowed in the cover on the luggage compartment shelf and no other objects are blocking the light from reaching the mirror. When the automatic dimming of the interior rearview mirror is switched off, the dimming of the exterior mirrors is also switched off. The heating of the exterior mirrors only works when the engine is running and the outside air temperature is up to +35C. If the electric adjustment drive is faulty, you can adjust both exterior mirrors manually by pressing on the edge of the mirror. If the electric adjustment drive is faulty, contact a service station.

To activate automatic dimming, press button D. Indicator lamp C lights up. To deactivate automatic dimming, press button D again. Indicator lamp C goes out. When automatic dimming is activated, the mirror automatically dims when it is hit by light from behind. When the interior lighting is switched on or when reverse gear is engaged, the mirror returns to the main (undarkened state). Do not mount external navigation devices on the windshield or near the auto-dimming interior mirror.

By moving the regulator in the directions indicated by the arrows, you can set the mirror to the desired position. The movement of the mirror repeats the movement of the rotary regulator. The regulator can be set to the following positions.

L: Adjustment of left mirror or both mirrors
R: Adjustment of the right mirror or both mirrors
0: Disable mirror adjustment

Folding the outside mirrors

Synchronous adjustment of both mirrors

Once the control is in position L, both mirrors can be adjusted simultaneously. Synchronous adjustment of both mirrors can be activated or deactivated in the Infotainment system.

Folding both outside mirrors using the rotary control

Folding both exterior mirrors is only possible with the ignition off and at speeds of up to 50 km/h. The mirrors are unfolded into the working position, after which the regulator should be turned from one position to any other.

Automatic folding/unfolding of both outside mirrors

After locking the car, the outside mirrors automatically fold into the parking position. After unlocking the car, the outside mirrors automatically unfold into the working position. The automatic folding/unfolding function of the outside mirrors can be activated or deactivated in the Infotainment system.

Auto-dimming mirrors

The outside mirrors dim at the same time as the automatically dimming inside mirror.

Folding the mirror on the front passenger side

In vehicles with the driver's seat memory function, this mirror tilts downwards slightly when reverse gear is engaged and the mirror adjuster is in position R. This allows the edge of the curb to be seen when parking. The mirror returns to its original position when the adjuster is turned from position R. The folding function for the front passenger side mirror can be activated or deactivated in the Infotainment system.

Memorizing the position of the outside mirrors

In vehicles with a driver's seat memory function or a key memory function, the position of the outside mirrors can be stored when the driver's seat position is stored in memory.
