They only work when the ignition is on. After turning off the ignition, you can open and close the windows for about 10 minutes. When opening the driver's or front passenger's door, the window lifters are completely switched off. To ventilate the interior while driving, you should first use the ventilation system of the heater or air conditioning system. When opening the windows, dust and other contaminants may get into the interior, and, in addition, at a certain speed, wind noise may appear.

Attention! Make sure that when locking the car from the outside there are no people in it, since it will be impossible to lower the windows from the passenger compartment if necessary. The system has a force limiting function. If there is an obstacle, the closing process is suspended and the glass is lowered by a few centimeters. However, caution is required when closing the windows - risk of injury! If there are children in the back seat, it is recommended to disable the rear door window lifter buttons (switch S). The window lift mechanism is equipped with overheating protection. If the glass is opened and closed repeatedly, this protection may be triggered. This results in a temporary blocking of the window lift mechanism. Once the mechanism has cooled down and the overheating protection has been switched off, the glass can be opened and closed again.

Opening

Lightly press the corresponding key down and hold the key until the glass is lowered to the desired position. In addition, you can completely lower the glass automatically by briefly pressing the lower part of the key. When you press the key again, the glass stops immediately.

Closing

Pull the corresponding key slightly upwards and hold the key until the glass rises to the desired position. You can also raise the glass completely automatically by briefly pressing the upper part of the key. When you press the key again, the glass stops immediately.

Force limitation

The electric window lift system has a force limitation function. This function reduces the risk of pinching and injury when closing the windows. If there is an obstacle, closing is interrupted and the window is lowered a few centimetres. If an obstacle prevents the window from closing for the next 10 seconds, closing is interrupted again and the window is lowered a few centimetres. If you try to close the window again within 10 seconds after lowering the window again, despite the fact that the obstacle has not been removed, lifting will be blocked. Automatic lifting of the window is then impossible, the force limitation function continues to operate. The force limitation will only be switched off if you try to close the window again within the next 10 seconds - now the window will close with full force! If more than 10 seconds pass, the force limitation function will be switched on again.

Comfortable control of window lifts

When unlocking or locking the car, the comfort function of lowering and raising the windows can be used as follows: setting the comfort control of the windows. The condition for the correct operation of the comfort control of the windows is the working function of the automatic lowering and raising of all windows. Opening/closing can occur in one of the following ways.

Convenient opening or closing of the windows with the key in the driver's door lock is only possible within 45 seconds after locking the car.

(1) Convenient opening and closing of windows using button A is possible immediately after unlocking the car, turning off the ignition and opening the driver's or front passenger's door.

Failure in operation

The automatic windows do not operate if the car battery terminals are disconnected and reconnected with the windows down. The system must be reactivated.

Activation process

Turn on the ignition. Pull the upper edge of the corresponding window lifter button and raise the glass. Release the button. Pull the same button again and hold it in the upper position for about 3 seconds.
