Remove the chain tensioner spring using the "T10118" tool in the "direction of the arrow" and lock it using the "T40265" lock.
Unscrew the "arrow" screws and remove the oil pump.
Installation
Installation is the reverse order. Make sure that both oil pump centering pins are inserted. Before installing the oil pump, check the strainer in the oil intake and the oil passages in the upper part of the oil pan for contamination. Insert the oil pump sprocket into the drive chain and install the oil pump.
Warning! Risk of engine damage. It is essential to perform the following step, otherwise the chain tensioner spring will not be in the installation position.
Pull out the chain tensioner spring with the "T10118" tool in the "direction of the arrow" and remove with the "T40265" lock. Place the sealing ring "pos. 6" on the new flow shut-off device and wet it with engine oil. Insert and screw in the new flow shut-off device. Install the lower part of the oil pan. Fill the engine with oil and check its level.
