Note: Before checking or repairing, check all air ducts and air hoses, as well as vacuum hoses, for tightness and leaks. When properly assembled, the radiator, condenser or intercooler fins may be slightly dented. This is not damage. It is not necessary to replace radiators, condensers or intercoolers due to such minor dents.

Connecting air hoses, pipes and fittings using screw clamps



Note: The hose connections and the charge air pipes and hoses must be free of oil and degreased before installation. Secure all hose connections with the appropriate serial clamps. In order to securely secure the air duct hoses to their connections, apply a rust converter to the augers of previously used screw clamps before installation.

1. Screw clamp "a" = 13 mm, width: 5.5 Nm
2. Screw clamp -b- = 9 mm, width: 3 Nm
