Removal and installation the hood cover (Skoda Rapid NH1)

Removal

1. Remove the windshield washer system nozzles (5) shown in the figure below from the bonnet.

2. Disconnect the cable (4) from the front of the hood (1) as shown in the figure below.

3. Pass the cable (4) through the hole in the hood cover (1).

4. Loosen the fastening nuts (3) of the bonnet hinges (2) on the left and right sides, as shown in the figure below.

Note: Be extremely careful. A second mechanic is needed to remove the hood.

5. Remove the bonnet support post (6).

6. Finally, loosen the fastening nuts (3) and remove the hood cover from the hinges (2), as shown in the figure below.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
