1. To open the hood, pull the hood lock handle 1 under the instrument panel 2 on the left side. The lock will open, but the hood will still be held in place by the safety hook.
2. Pull lever 1 of the safety hook, located slightly to the left of the center of the front part of the hood. With your other hand, lift the hood 2.
3. Remove stop 2 from the holder on the body and fix the hood 1 in the open position by inserting the end of the stop into the special hole A.
4. To close the hood, lift it, remove stop 2 and secure it in the holder. From a height of approximately 30 cm, release the hood until its latch clicks into place.
Caution! When closing the hood, make sure there are no tools, rags, or other objects on the fender flanges or front crossmember.
