Hood adjustment
Note:
- When adjusting the hood, the car must be on a level surface.
- The adjustable stops on the left and right are not intended for position adjustment. They fix the position of the hood and dampen its vibration.
- The hood is adjusted correctly if it has a uniform gap around the entire perimeter, smoothly flows into other body panels, is not recessed inward and does not protrude outward.
- The hood should lock into place without any noticeable effort.
- Do not unscrew the hex nuts, only loosen them.
1. Remove the hood lock brackets (1) and (3) shown in the figure below.

2. By loosening the nuts (1) on the left and right hood hinges, but without unscrewing them completely, you can align the hood in a horizontal plane (between the wings).
3. Ensure that the gaps are uniform.

4. After adjustment, carry out anti-corrosion treatment of the hinges and nuts.
5. After adjusting the hood, the locking bracket (1) can be installed in place and adjusted.
6. Using the hood lock, you can adjust the height of the front part of the hood relative to the front fenders.
