Note.
  • The car must be parked on a flat, horizontal surface.
  • The adjusting buffers (2) on the right and left sides of the bonnet are not used for adjustment. They are designed to stabilize or dampen the bonnet.
  • The hood is adjusted properly if it closes and opens without jamming and has an even gap with the body around the entire perimeter.
  • The hood latch should lock without applying excessive force.
  • Do not completely unscrew the mounting nuts, they only need to be loosened.


1. Unscrew the mounting bolts and remove the hood lock bracket (1), shown in the figure below.

2. To adjust the hood cover relative to the body wings, it is necessary to loosen the fastening nuts (6) on the right and left (7) hinges.

3. Make sure that the edges of the hood and fenders are parallel and the gap is uniform around the perimeter.

Adjusting buffers



Note.
  • Screw the right and left bonnet lid buffers (2) and (3) until they stop.
  • Turn the adjusting buffers 90 degrees towards the hood preload.


1. After adjusting the position of the bonnet lid, the lock bracket (1) must be installed in place and adjusted.

2. The bonnet cover at the front can be adjusted by moving the lock (5) shown in the figure below.

3. After adjusting the hood cover, install the lock bracket and tighten its mounting bolts. Set the adjusting buffers to their original position.

4. After adjustment, tighten the nuts (6) securing the hood cover to the hinges (7) with the required tightening torque and apply a special anti-corrosion coating to these fastening elements.

1. Loosen the mounting bolts (2) and, by moving the bonnet lock (1) in the horizontal (arrow a) and vertical (arrow b) direction, adjust its position.

2. Adjust the lock bracket (1) by moving it within the holes as shown in the figure below.
