Removal
1. Pull the bonnet release lever (1) towards you to open the bonnet.

2. Insert a flat-head screwdriver into the gap between the hood release lever (1) and the retaining ring (2) shown in the figure below.
3. Remove the retaining ring (2) from the bonnet release lever (item 1) (arrow) and detach the lever from the support bracket (3) as shown in the figure below.
Note: Before starting work on the support bracket (3), it is necessary to remove the lower part of the B-pillar trim panel (4).
Installation
1. Install the retaining ring (2) on the bonnet release lever.
2. Install and press the hood release lever (1) to the support bracket (3) shown in the figure below.
