Note.
- The car must be parked on a flat, horizontal surface.
- The tailgate lock is fixed inside the tailgate housing, so it is not adjustable.
- The buffers on the right and left sides of the luggage compartment door are not intended to adjust the position of the door. Their purpose is to stabilize or dampen when closing the door.
- The tailgate is adjusted properly if it has a uniform gap around the perimeter with the body opening, is not displaced excessively forward or backward, and closes without applying undue force.
1. The luggage compartment door can be adjusted relative to the opening in the body by moving it in the hinges, having previously loosened its fastening bolts (3). In this case, it is possible to adjust the door horizontally and vertically. Tightening torque of the bolts fastening the luggage compartment door to the hinges: 10 Nm.
2. After adjusting the luggage compartment door, an anti-corrosion coating must be applied to the bolts securing the door to the hinges.
3. Adjust the trunk lid lock rod (see the relevant section in this chapter).
4. Adjust the rubber buffers of the tailgate (see the relevant section in this chapter).
