1. The squib is very hot after firing, so you must wait at least 30 minutes to cool down before handling it.
2. Do not allow water or oil to get on the airbag or pretensioners after they have been deployed.
3. Activated airbags and pretensioners contain substances that can irritate the eyes and/or skin. Wear gloves and goggles when handling airbag modules and pretensioners.
Attention. If, despite the warnings, substances come into contact with the eyes or on the skin, immediately rinse the affected area with plenty of clean water. If any allergic reaction occurs, seek medical attention immediately.
4. Pack the airbag module or pretensioner securely in a strong plastic bag for recycling.
5. Wash your hands thoroughly after completing this procedure.
