Once activated, the airbag modules and seat belt pretensioners must be disposed of in accordance with current environmental protection legislation. To do this, proceed as follows:

1. The pyropatron is very hot after firing, so you must wait at least 30 minutes to let it cool before handling it.

2. Do not allow water or oil to come into contact with the airbag or pretensioners after they have been deployed.

3. Activated airbags and pretensioners contain substances that may irritate the eyes and/or skin. Use gloves and safety glasses when handling airbag modules and pretensioners.

Caution. If, despite warnings, the substances come into contact with eyes or skin, immediately wash the affected area with plenty of clean water. If any allergic reaction occurs, seek immediate medical attention.

4. Securely pack the airbag module or pretensioner in a strong plastic bag for safe storage disposal.

disposal.

5. Wash your hands thoroughly after completing this procedure.
