Caution: Always store the passenger airbag module with the housing facing down and the decorative cover facing up after removal. Never store the airbag module with the cover facing down. Failure to do so may result in serious injury.
Warning. Do not connect electrified measuring devices to the airbag terminals. This may cause spontaneous activation of the squib and, as a result, serious injuries.
Attention. To avoid spontaneous activation of the airbags, it is forbidden to use any storage devices. Failure to do so may result in serious injury or death.
Note. Repair of the passive safety system components is not provided. In case of failure, the damaged component is replaced as an assembly.
Attention: Before starting any work, turn off the ignition and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery, then wait at least 3 minutes.
Caution: Always work from the side of the airbag module, avoid working opposite the module.
Removal
1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the glove box from the instrument panel assembly (see the relevant section in Chapter Body).
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (4) from the airbag module (2) as shown in the figure below.
4. Remove the airbag module mounting bolts (3) shown in the figure below. Tightening torque of the mounting bolts during installation: 7 Nm.
5. Remove the front airbag module assembly (2) as shown in the figure below.

Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Connect the negative terminal to the battery.
Caution: There should be no one in the car when connecting the terminal to the battery.
Note: If the K75 indicator lights up, it means that the error in the memory needs to be cleared.
