Front Seat Belt Buckle (modification) — Removal and Installation (Skoda Rapid NH1)

Removal

1. Remove the front seat assembly (see the corresponding section in the chapter Body).

2. Disconnect the under-seat wiring harness connector (1) as shown in the figure below.

3. Disconnect the wiring harness clips (arrows) from the seat cushion frame as shown in the figure below.

4. Unscrew the mounting bolt (2) shown in the figure below. Tightening torque of the mounting bolt during installation: 40 Nm.

Note.

• The mounting bolt is microencapsulated and must therefore always be replaced after disassembly.
• Before installing a new mounting bolt, clean and, if necessary, wash the threaded portion of the nut.

Installation

1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
