Attention.
- Always after an accident, it is necessary to carry out a complete check of the technical condition of the elements of the passive safety system described below.
- Retractable seat belt tensioners.
- Locks (buckles) seat belts.
- Belt tension sensor (if the car is equipped).
- Front seat belt buckle support.
- Seat belt height adjuster.
- Child seat mounting bracket.
- Automatic belt tensioner lock when child seat is installed.
- If any malfunctions or irregularities in the operation of the seat belts and their components are found, the seat belt system assembly must be replaced. Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to serious consequences in the event of an accident.
- After an accident with the operation of automatic seat belt pretensioners, it is necessary to replace the pretensioner assemblies.
Removing
Note. On vehicles with an automatic occupant detection system, it is also necessary to remove the wiring harness and disconnect it from the seat frame.
1. Remove the front seat assembly (see the relevant section in chapter Body).
2. Unscrew the fastening bolt (2), shown in the figure below. Mounting bolt tightening torque during installation: 40 Nm.
3. Remove the front seat belt buckle (1), as shown in the figure below.
Note.
- Mounting bolt (2) microencapsulated, therefore must always be replaced after disassembly.
- Before installing a new fastening bolt, clean and, if necessary, flush the threaded part of the nut.
Installation
1. Installation is made in reverse order to removal.
