Attention.
- Always after an accident, it is necessary to carry out a complete check of the technical condition of the elements of the passive safety system described below.
- Retractable seat belt tensioners.
- Locks (buckles) seat belts.
- Belt tension sensor (if the car is equipped).
- Front seat belt buckle support.
- Seat belt height adjuster.
- Child seat mounting bracket.
- Automatic belt tensioner lock when child seat is installed.
- If any malfunctions or irregularities in the operation of the seat belts and their components are found, the seat belt system assembly must be replaced. Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to serious consequences in the event of an accident.
- After an accident with the operation of automatic seat belt pretensioners, it is necessary to replace the pretensioner assemblies.
Removing
1. Remove the upper part of the center pillar trim panel (see the relevant section in chapter Body).
2. Remove the bolt (1) fasteners and remove the seat belt guide (2) from the belt height adjuster, as shown in the figure below. Mounting bolt tightening torque during installation: 40 Nm.
3. Unscrew the fastening bolt (1) and remove the seat belt height adjuster (2) assembly from the B-pillar as shown in the figure below. Mounting bolt tightening torque during installation: 20 Nm.
Installation
1. Installation is made in reverse order to removal.
