Attention.
  • There is a risk of injury when handling batteries. Observe warnings and safety precautions.
  • If the battery is not fastened professionally, it may be damaged. Check the fastening.

Before taking any extensive measurements, it is absolutely necessary to visually inspect the external condition of the battery and the tight connection of the battery terminals.

During visual inspection it is necessary to find out:

Is the battery monoblock damaged? Due to damage to the sleeve (monoblock), leaked acid may possibly cause serious damage to the car (does not apply to AGM fleece batteries). The parts of the car that have been exposed to leaking acid should be immediately treated with a neutralizing agent or soap suds. Damaged varnish should be professionally repaired.

Are the battery terminals damaged? (connecting battery wires) and whether the secure connection of the battery terminals has been compromised due to damage to the battery terminals.

Attention. When connecting the battery terminals, it is necessary to adhere to the procedure specified in this manual. If the battery terminals are not installed and tightened correctly, the wires may even catch fire. This will result in significant malfunctions of the electrical equipment. As a result, the safe operation of the vehicle is no longer ensured.
