Detachment
Note. Before proceeding to disconnect the battery, you should find out the car radio and navigation code, respectively. This does not apply to radios and navigations installed by the manufacturer.
1. After turning off all electrical consumers, remove the key from the ignition switch.
2. After loosening the nut, disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
Note. If it is necessary to disconnect both terminals from the battery, first disconnect the negative terminal, and then the positive one.
Connection
Attention.
- If work has been carried out on the airbag system or on the electrical pre-tensioners of the seat belts, the following instructions must also be observed:
- Before connecting the battery terminals, the ignition must be switched on.
- While connecting the battery, no one should be inside the vehicle.
Note.
- Do not apply any grease or oil to the battery terminals.
- To prevent damage to the battery, the battery terminals must be put on only by hand, without using excessive force.
- The battery terminals should be installed in such a way that the battery terminals are in the same plane with the terminals or protrude from them.
- If both pole terminals are disconnected, first connect the pole terminal to the positive (+) battery terminal.
1. After turning off all electrical consumers, remove the key from the ignition switch.

Continuation for all cars
6. After connecting the battery, the following work must be carried out, depending on the equipment of the vehicle:
Set clock.
Check the power window and the electrical equipment of the Comfort system.
Enter code in case of car radio/navigation with anti-theft coding (does not apply to radios/navigations installed at the factory).
Initialize steering angle sender -G85-.
Depending on the motor type, further settings must be made (e.g. readiness code generation). For this you should use.
