Disconnection
Note: Before disconnecting the battery, you should find out the code of the car radio and navigation, respectively. This does not apply to factory-installed radios and navigation.
1. After turning off all electrical consumers, remove the key from the ignition.
2. Loosen the nut and disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
Note: If it is necessary to disconnect both terminals from the battery, first disconnect the negative terminal and then the positive terminal.
Connection
Attention.
- If work has been carried out on the Airbag system or on the electrical devices for pre-tensioning the seat belts, the following instructions must also be followed:
- Before connecting the battery terminals, the ignition must be turned on.
- No one should be inside the vehicle while the battery is being connected.
Note.
- Do not apply any grease or oil to the battery terminals.
- To prevent damage to the battery, the battery terminals must be installed only by hand, without using excessive force.
- The battery terminals must be installed so that the battery terminals are in the same plane as the terminals or protrude from them.
- If both terminals are disconnected, first connect the terminal to the positive (+) terminal of the battery.
1. After turning off all electrical consumers, remove the key from the ignition.

2. Before connecting to the battery, disconnect the connector (3) from the control unit (2), as shown in the figure below.
3. Place the ground terminal terminal with the control unit on the "-" battery contact and tighten the fastening nut (1) (6 Nm).
4. Reconnect the connector (3) to the control unit.

5. After inserting the terminal tip of the wire connecting the battery terminal to the vehicle ground, tighten the "arrow" nut (6 Nm).

Continued for all cars
6. After connecting the battery, the following work must be carried out, depending on the vehicle equipment:
Set the clock.
Check the electric window and electrical equipment of the Comfort system.
Enter code in case of car radio/navigation with anti-theft coding (does not apply to factory fitted radios/navigations).
Initialize steering wheel angle sensor "G85".
Depending on the engine type, other adjustments may need to be made (eg code readiness generation). For this you should use.
