Removing
1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery (4), shown in the figure below.
2. Holding the lid open (3), unscrew the nut securing the positive terminal (2) battery as shown in the figure below.
3. Gently squeeze the latches (arrow A), using a screwdriver, disconnect and move aside the fuse box together with the positive terminal (1) to the side, in the direction of arrow B, as shown in the figure below.
4. Unscrew the fastening bolt (1), shown in the figure below.
5. Remove mounting bracket (2).
6. Remove the battery (3) from a support (4), as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. Installation is made in reverse order to removal.
Install the battery so that the protrusions in the holder (arrows), touched the battery as shown in the figure below.
The battery is installed correctly if the middle notch on the front bottom plate corresponds to the hole in the battery holder -arrows-.
Attention.
- If the battery is installed incorrectly or if it is loose, the following hazards may occur:
- Reduced durability due to vibrations (explosion hazard).
- Damage to the battery plates.
- Damage to the battery box through the mounting plate (possible acid leakage, increased follow-up costs).
- Insufficient security in the event of an accident.
