Removal
1. Remove the accessory drive belt.
2. Loosen the mounting clamps and disconnect the right boost pipe of the intake system, as shown in the figure below.
3. Using your finger to press and release the clamp, disconnect the fuel heating valve from the guide of the engine cooling system expansion tank, as shown in the figure below.
4. Unscrew the fastening screw (arrow) of the expansion tank of the cooling system, as shown in the figure below.
5. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the engine coolant expansion tank as shown in the figure below. Then disconnect the expansion tank from the mounting bracket and set it aside.
Install the special device (T30099) with the support beam (T30099) and the adapter (MP 200/3) and hang the power unit using the spindle (A), as shown in the figure below. Align the spindle (B) opposite the hook.
7. Loosen the fastening nut (1) and disconnect the ground wire shown in the figure below.
8. Unscrew the mounting bolts (arrows) of the powertrain support mounting bracket as an assembly, as shown in the figure below.
9. Loosen the power unit support bracket mounting nut (2), carefully lower the power unit assembly to loosen the power unit assembly mounting.
10. Loosen the mounting bolts (arrow) shown in the figure below.
11. Loosen the mounting clamp (2) as shown in the figure below.
12. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (1) from the boost pressure sensor together with the intake air temperature sensor, then remove the right air duct as shown in the figure below.
13. Unscrew the mounting bolt (2) and remove the tensioner (1) of the accessory drive belt, as shown in the figure below.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
Install the mounting bolts (arrow) and tighten them to the required tightening torque, as shown in the figure below. Attach the bracket to the power unit support. Install and tighten the mounting nut. Connect the ground wire, install and tighten the wire mounting nut.
Replace the accessory drive belt tensioner.
Install the accessory drive belt.
