2. When removing and installing, use a locking tool (MP1-223 (3067)).
Note.
- Before putting on the screws, it is necessary that the running surface of the clutch disc and the friction lining of the pressure plate are completely in contact with the flywheel.
- The screws must be tightened crosswise to avoid damaging the centering holes and the centering pins of the flywheel.
Mounting position in combination with a double-disc flywheel
Inscription "Getriebeseite" (arrow) towards the gearbox as shown in the figure below.
Checking the end of the diaphragm springs
Permissible wear - up to half the thickness of the springs.
Checking the fastening of springs and rivets
Check spring fixings between pressure plate and cover for cracks and check rivet connections for tightness.
Pressure plate with damaged spring attachment or loose rivet connection (arrows) needs to be replaced.
