Removing
Note.
- Necessary special devices, control and measuring devices, as well as auxiliary means.
- Clutch Spline Grease (G 000 100).
Note. After disconnecting and then connecting the wire connecting the battery terminal to ground (corps) vehicle, some additional work needs to be done.
1. Remove the top decorative engine cover.
2. Remove the battery and battery holder (for details, see the relevant section in chapter Engine electrical equipment).
3. Remove the air filter (for details, see the relevant section in chapter Intake and exhaust system).
4. Remove retaining ring (arrow 1) cable-operated gear shift with shift lever (A), as shown in the figure below.
5. Remove the shift cable from the pin.
6. Remove the preselector guide lever together with the flexible shaft locking device (Bowden cable).
Continuation for all cars
7. Remove the shift lever (A), for which it is necessary to unscrew the fastening nut (arrow 4), as shown in the figure below.
8. Remove the counter support of the flexible rollers (Bowden cables) from gearbox (screws 1), as shown in the figure below.
9. Tie down the shift cable and the cable for the selective shift control at the top.
10. Place a non-shedding rag under the clutch release slave cylinder.
11. Remove clip (2) pipe and hose line from the slave cylinder of the clutch release actuator to the stop, as shown in the figure below.
12.Then remove the pipe and hose (3), shown in the figure below, from the clutch release slave cylinder and plug the holes.
13. Remove the pipe and hose line (3) from the holder (4), if equipped, on the gearbox.
14. Unscrewing the screws (5) Clutch release slave cylinder, remove the clutch release slave cylinder as shown in the figure below.
Note. Do not depress the clutch pedal.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order, and the following instructions must be observed:
Lubricate the end of the rod with grease for the clutch disc splines (G 000 100).
Note. Replace damaged O-rings.
Screw the clutch booster cylinder to the gearbox with screws (5), as shown in the figure below.
Insert pipe and hose (3) into the slave cylinder of the clutch release drive until it stops.
Press the bracket shown in the figure below (2) all the way.
Press the pipe and hose line into the holder (4), if equipped, on the gearbox.
After installing the slave cylinder of the clutch release actuator, bleed the air from the clutch control actuator.
Install the counter support for the flexible rollers (Bowden cables), the selector lever and the shift lever.
Adjust, if necessary, the gearshift drive.
Install air filter (for details, see the relevant section in chapter Intake and exhaust system).
Install battery and battery holder (for details, see the relevant section in chapter Engine electrical equipment).
Connect the wire connecting the battery terminal to ground (corps) car.
