Window
Attention. Do not prevent windows from closing, as this may result in injury.
Comment. With prolonged use of the e / drive of the power windows, it can automatically turn off for a while in order to avoid overheating.
The car is equipped as standard with an electric power window for all doors with an automatic window opening/closing function, an anti-pinch function and a comfort opening/closing function.
You can lower and raise the windows using the remote control or a single lock key, using the comfort opening / closing function (see below).
Switches are used to control the electric power windows: individual switches located on the door trim are used on the passenger doors, and a switch panel is installed on the driver's door to control all power windows (see illustrations 5.1a-b). This panel also has a switch (S), which allows you to block the power window switches located in the rear doors. When the rear power windows are locked, the indicator built into the switch turns on. To open or close the door window, respectively, press or pull up the front edge of the corresponding switch and hold it until the glass is in the desired position.
5.1a Power window control panel in the driver's door
5.1b Power window control switch on the passenger door
The power windows can be controlled by the switches when the ignition is on, and also for about 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off, but only until at least one of the front doors is opened. When the ignition is off, the automatic opening/closing function does not work. After a few seconds, comfort opening/closing mode starts (see below).
The automatic window opening/closing function allows you to fully open or close the window with one touch of the switch. To use this function, press or pull up the corresponding switch to the second detent position and release the switch, the window will fully lower or raise accordingly. To stop the window from moving when using the auto open/close function, press or pull the switch again.
If the battery is disconnected or discharged while the windows are not completely closed, the automatic mode is deactivated and must be initialized. To do this, completely close all doors and windows, pull up and hold the button for the corresponding power window for at least a second, then release the button, pull it up again and hold it for about 3 seconds. Initialization can be carried out both for individual panes (in turn), and simultaneously for all glasses.
The anti-pinch function is designed to prevent serious consequences caused by body parts being pinched by moving glass. If an obstacle is detected in the way of the rising glass, then the glass is automatically stopped and the glass is lowered by a few centimeters. In this case, remove the interference and try again to close the window. If an obstacle occurs again within 10 seconds after the first automatic interruption of the window lifting, the situation is repeated. If within 10 seconds after the second automatic interruption of the window lifting, when trying to close the window in automatic mode, an obstacle occurs again, the window only stops (does not fall). After that, the anti-pinch function is disabled for the next 10 seconds.
Comment. Careless closing of the windows may override the anti-pinch function and cause injury.
The convenience opening/closing function allows you to simultaneously open or close all windows with power windows. For this function to work, the power windows must be in good working order. To open all windows, hold down the unlock button on the key fob (see illustration 1.1) or on the trim of the driver's door, or hold the key in the driver's door lock turned in the appropriate direction. Comfort opening with a key in the lock of the driver's door only within 45 seconds after the activation or deactivation of the anti-theft alarm.
To close all windows, hold down the lock button on the key fob or on the driver's door trim, or hold the key in the driver's door lock turned to the appropriate direction, or hold your finger on the system's lock touch surface "KESSY".
To stop moving the glass, release the key or button.
Attention: Although the anti-pinch function continues to work when using the comfort closing function, make sure that there are no obstacles in its path when closing the glass. Through the menu "Settings > Comfort > Window controls" You can change various power window control settings:
- "Off" - convenience opening/closing switched off.
- "Choose all" - comfort opening/closing is enabled for all power windows.
- "Driver" - comfort opening/closing is enabled only for the power window in the driver's door.

Comment. To avoid damage, before opening or raising the sunroof in winter, clear the cover and sunroof of snow and ice. Regularly remove leaves and other foreign objects from the sunroof guides by hand or vacuum cleaner.
In a special configuration, the car can be equipped with a sliding sunroof with an electric drive.
The panoramic sunroof and sunshade mobile panel control switch is located in the overhead console. The sunroof can be operated with this switch when the ignition is on, and also for about 10 minutes after the ignition is turned off, but only until at least one of the front doors is opened. Description of the combination switch positions is shown in illustration 5.2a. Sliding the sunroof back automatically moves the sunblind. Before opening the sunroof in winter, it is necessary to remove possible icing from it so as not to damage the mechanism.

On some models, a solar panel is built into the sunroof cover. The voltage generated by this battery is used to operate the climate control fan when the ignition is off. This ensures ventilation of the car interior even when it is parked.
In the event of a malfunction of the e / drive or with a discharged battery, the top hatch can be closed / opened manually. To do this, open the eyeglasses (in the presence of), pry the back of the cover with a screwdriver (left side of illustration 5.2b) and fold it down, and then insert a 4 mm hex key indicated on the right side of illustration 5.2b and turn it.
5.2b Emergency opening/closing of the sunroof (superb models)
The sunroof must be initialized after each emergency actuation. Initialization is also required after disconnecting the battery. To initialize the sunroof drive, set the switch to position (And in illustration 5.2a) and keep it pressed for about 10 seconds.
