Removal and installation the gas pedal (Skoda Yeti 5L)

1. Remove the steering column cover behind the pedals (see illustration).



2. Pry off the plug with a screwdriver (4 in the illustration) and unscrew the bolt (3) located behind it.



3. Press the T10238 tool into the grooves until it stops, as shown in the illustration, and remove the accelerator pedal module.





4. Disconnect the connector (2 in illustration 8.2) and remove the gas pedal assembly (5).

4. Connect the gas pedal module connector until it locks into place and slide it onto the mounting pins (6). Insert the centering pin (7) into the hole in the floor, secure the gas pedal module with the bolt (3) to 10 Nm and close it with the plug (4).

5. Install the housing behind the pedals. If a new pedal module is installed, on DSG models the ECM must be adapted to it using the diagnostic tool.
