Removal
1. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery.
2. Remove the air filter housing assembly (for more details, see the corresponding section in the chapter "Intake and exhaust system").
3. Unscrew the fastening nut (1) of the upper part of the wire fastening (2), as shown in the figure below.
4. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (4) shown in the figure below.
5. Remove the cover (5).
6. Unscrew the fastening nut (6) and disconnect the 30/B+ terminal.
7. Unscrew the mounting bolts (1) and (2) and remove the starter assembly (3) in an upward direction, as shown in the figure below.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
