Replacing the glass sunroof seal (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Removal the upper seal

The glass cover has been removed.

1. Upper seal.



Pull the seal upwards along the entire perimeter of the sealing channel.

Installing the top seal

Insert the seal into the sealing channel with the working edge facing outward.



Align the seal so that the "arrow" joint is located at the back center, and insert it into the sealing channel.





Fill the seal around the entire perimeter.

Caution! Do not stretch the seal, otherwise it will not fill completely.

Replacing the glass lid seal

Open the sliding/tilting sunroof. Remove the rear seal of the glass cover from the sealing channel.

Installation

Note: To facilitate installation, wet the seal, for example with a soap solution.

Place seal "1" on both sides flush with the glass.



Insert the seal into the channel as shown in the figure.



Fill the seal completely on both sides, from the edges to the middle.
