Removal and installation the climate control panel with the Climatronic control unit «J255» (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the information system display. Grasp the climate control panel "2" at the edges and, pulling, evenly remove it with the trim "1" from the front panel. Disconnect the trim "1" from the panel "2". Unlock and disconnect the connectors.

Installation

Installation in reverse order. Connect the connectors and insert panel "2" into the mounting hole. Then secure the cover plate "1".

Note: If a new control panel with Climatronic control unit "J255" is installed, connect the Tester and in the guided fault finding or guided function mode, perform the "Replace control unit" function for the relevant control unit and the "Initial compressor start" function.
