Removal and installation the air intake grille (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the water drainage box casing. Remove the air pollution sensor "G238". Unscrew the nuts "arrows" (3 Nm) and remove the grille "1" upwards.

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: Ensure that the grille seal "2" is installed correctly. If the grille is installed incorrectly or damaged, water may enter the air intake. This may cause complaints due to a smell from the heater or increased humidity in the passenger compartment. Clean the grille mating surface before installation.

Tighten only the outer nuts, and then the opposite middle ones.
