Removal and installation the crankshaft pulley (Skoda Octavia 5E)

Remove the poly V-belt. Loosen the crankshaft pulley bolts. To do this, use a spanner to hold the crankshaft from turning by the toothed pulley bolt. Unscrew the bolts and remove the crankshaft pulley.

Installation

Installation in reverse order.

Note: Replace bolts that are tightened to the specified angle.

Mounting position: The "arrow" hole in the crankshaft pulley for the poly V-belt must be opposite the projection of the crankshaft toothed pulley.



Install the poly V-belt.
