Important: The working edges of the sealing ring must not be lubricated with oil or grease.
After placing the sealing ring on the housing of the identification gears, hammer it in using a hammer until the device stops. Carefully insert the degreased sleeve into the sealing ring.
The rest of the installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions.
Replacing the crankshaft seal (oil seal) - flywheel side
Remove the flywheel. Carefully remove the oil seal using screwdriver "A".
Important: When removing the oil seal, do not damage the sealing surface.
Installation
After inserting the installation tool into the installation tool, push the sealing ring "A" onto the installation tool according to the figure. Take away the assembly tool.
Remove any remaining oil from the crankshaft journal with a clean cloth. Install the sealing ring (oil seal). Hammer the sealing ring (oil seal) until it stops.
The rest of the installation is carried out in the reverse order of actions.
