Insert the snap ring pliers into both "arrow" holes of the locking ring. Turn the locking ring approximately 25° counterclockwise.
Tilt the locking ring in the filler neck and remove it through the "arrow" hole for the filler neck cap.
Remove the anti-fuel protection from the filler neck "arrow", if necessary use pliers for retaining rings.
Installation
Installation in reverse order. In this case, it is necessary to do the following: Insert the protection against filling with the wrong fuel into the filler neck. The projection of the protection should enter the groove of the filler neck "arrow".
Rotate the locking ring clockwise approximately 25° using locking ring pliers. When correctly installed, the marks on the locking ring and the filler neck should match up with the "arrows".
Removal the protection against refueling with unsuitable fuel
Remove the protection against filling with the wrong fuel. Remove the fasteners in the marked places, shown in red "arrows".
Note: The valve for preventing incorrect fuel refuelling must be able to be opened without effort.
