4. The fuel filter is part of the fuel lift pump and is located inside the spherical collector. Before starting work, place a suitable container under the car and wrap the fuel lift pump with rags to collect any spilled fuel.
5. Separate the spherical accumulator from the fuel pump by unscrewing the nut of the mounting bracket.
6. Remove the filter from the tank. Clean the tank inside and outside with a cloth, then place the new filter inside (photo).

7. Installation of the spherical accumulator is carried out in the reverse order.
Cars since January 1992
8. The fuel filter is of the flow-through type and is located in the fuel supply line in front of the fuel pump.
9. To remove the filter, loosen the clamps on the inlet and outlet pipes, then disconnect the filter from the fuel lines.
10. Install the new filter in the reverse order of removal; the arrow on the filter housing should point towards the fuel pump.
