Cars before January 1992
4. The fuel filter is part of the fuel priming pump and is located inside the spherical accumulator. Before starting work, place a suitable container under the vehicle and wrap a rag around the fuel priming pump to catch spilled fuel.
5. Separate the spherical accumulator from the fuel priming pump by unscrewing the mounting bracket nut.
6. Remove the filter from the hopper. Clean the drive inside and out with a cloth, then put a new filter inside (photo).
7. Installation of the spherical drive is carried out in the reverse order.
Vehicles since January 1992
8. The fuel filter is of the flow type and is located in the fuel supply line in front of the fuel priming pump.
9. To remove the filter, loosen the clamps on the inlet and outlet pipes, and then disconnect the filter from the fuel lines.
10. Installation of a new filter is carried out in the reverse order of removal, the arrow on the filter housing should point to the fuel priming pump.
