Note: Before removing, clean with cleaner "Kalireiniger" fuel line on the tip and dry them with compressed air. When reinstalling the high-pressure lines, observe the cylinder markings. The high pressure pipes can be reused after the following checks have been made. Inspect the cone on which the seal is made. It must not be deformed or have cracks. The main channel must not be deformed, narrowed or damaged. It is forbidden to use pipelines damaged by corrosion. Danger of destruction of the line when tensioning the high-pressure pipeline. For the best connection of the lines to the injectors, and in order not to damage them, loosen the fastening of the fuel rail and pressure plates. If necessary, move the fuel rail slightly and turn the corresponding injector slightly. Under no circumstances should pipes be bent or kinked.
Suck out the dirt from the sealing cone on the fuel rail. Moisten the thread of the union nuts with clean engine oil. Tighten the union nuts of the high pressure pipes by hand. At the same time, make sure that there are no distortions and tension in the pipelines. Use torque wrench -1- with socket wrench SW17 or socket -T40055- to tighten high pressure lines at fuel rail and at injectors.
Install balancing weights -1- on the high-pressure lines as shown in the illustration. Check fuel system for leaks.
