Note: Clean with cleaner before removing "Kalireiniger" fuel line with the tip and dry them with compressed air. When reinstalling the high-pressure lines, observe the marks indicating which cylinders belong to which. High-pressure lines can be reused after the following checks have been performed. Inspect the cone on which the seal is made. It must not be deformed or cracked. The line channel must not be deformed, narrowed or damaged. Do not use lines damaged by corrosion. Risk of line failure when tensioning the high-pressure line. For the best connection of the lines to the injectors and to avoid damaging them, loosen the fastening of the fuel rail and pressure plates. If necessary, slightly move the fuel rail and slightly turn the corresponding injector. Do not allow the lines to bend or skew under any circumstances.

Suck dirt out of the sealing cone on the fuel rail. Wet the threads of the union nuts with clean engine oil. Tighten the union nuts of the high-pressure lines by hand. Make sure that there is no distortion or tension on the lines. To tighten the high-pressure lines on the fuel rail and on the injectors, use torque wrench "1" with a socket wrench SW17 or socket attachment "T40055".
