Removal and installation of the lambda probe "G39"



Disconnect connector "2" from lambda probe "G39".

Disconnect connector «2» from lambda probe «G39».


Unscrew the lambda probe "G39" "1" using the tool from the set of open-end wrenches for the lambda probe "3337".

Unscrew the lambda probe «G39» «1» using the tool…


Installation



Note: The threads of new lambda probes are coated with mounting paste. Do not allow this paste to get into the grooves of the lambda probe housing. When installing used lambda probes, only the threads must be lubricated with high-temperature paste. Do not allow this paste to get into the grooves of the lambda probe housing. When installing the lambda probe, its cable must be attached exactly in the same places. The electrical wiring must not be in contact with the exhaust manifold/downpipe under any circumstances.
