Caution! The fuel system is under pressure! Before opening the system, be sure to release the pressure in the high-pressure area.
1. Connector: fuel pressure regulator-N₂76-
2. High pressure pump screw: replacement; 1.8L engine: 8 Nm + 90° (¼ turn), 2.0L engine: 20 Nm
3. Fuel pressure regulator "N₂76"
4. High pressure pump: There is an electric fuel pump in the fuel tank that supplies fuel to the mechanical fuel pump; when installing the high-pressure pump, make sure that no contaminants enter the fuel system; there should be no increased pressure in the fuel system; install fuel lines without causing stress; check the O-ring, replace if damaged
5. Sealing ring: replace if damaged
6. Roller tappet: under certain conditions, remains in the vacuum pump after removing the high pressure pump
7. Fuel feed pipe nipple: 1.8L engine: 15 Nm, 2.0L engine: 20 Nm
8. Clamp: replace
9. Fuel pressure line: to the fuel rail of the MPI injectors; lay without creating stress (keeping clean)
10. Fitting, 40 Nm: pressure fuel line; replace
11. Union nut, 27 Nm: pressure fuel line
12. Fuel pressure line: to the fuel rail of the FSI injectors; lubricate the spherical tips of the pressure fuel line with engine oil; lay the pressure fuel line without creating stress (keeping clean)
