Removal and installation the fuel pressure sensor «G247» (Skoda Octavia 5E)

If the fuel pressure sensor "G247" fails, the fuel pressure regulator "N₂76" is switched off, the fuel supply module switches to full load operation, and the engine operates with the existing fuel pressure. As a result, the engine torque is significantly reduced. Remove the engine casing. Loosen screws -1 and 3-. Unlock the lock "arrow" and remove the cover "2".



Release coolant hose "2". Unlock the clamps "arrows" and remove the upper part of the air duct "1".



Unscrew the screws "arrow" on the left and right. Disconnect the lower part of the air duct "1" from the fasteners and remove.

Caution! The fuel system is under pressure! Before opening the system, be sure to release the pressure in the high-pressure area.

Unscrew the screws "arrows" securing the coolant pipeline to the intake manifold.



Remove the intake manifold support by unscrewing nut "2" and screw "3". Remove rubber support "1" of the intake manifold support.



Unlock the fuel pressure sensor connector "G247" "1" using the mounting device "T10118". Unscrew the fuel pressure sensor "G247" "1" using the end attachment "T4Q218".
