Removal
1. Remove the tailgate lock decorative cover (3) shown in the figure below.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness connector from the tailgate lock control (1) as shown in the figure below.
3. Loosen the mounting nuts (2) shown in the figure below and remove the luggage compartment lid lock (1). The tightening torque of the mounting nuts during installation is 21 Nm.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
