If the indicator first flashes for approx. 2 sec. quickly, then lights up with a constant light and after about 30 seconds. flashes slowly, this means there is a malfunction in the central locking system or in the device for monitoring the interior of the car. Comfortable window glass control system.
By unlocking and locking the vehicle, it is possible to open and close the power windows. This selectable function only allows the individual unlocking of the driver's door. The remaining doors and the fuel filler cap remain locked and are only unlocked by a subsequent command (unlocking).

Automatic locking
At a speed of approximately 15 km/h, all vehicle doors and the boot lid are automatically locked. The car is automatically unlocked again by removing the key from the ignition. In addition, the driver can unlock the vehicle by pressing the central locking system switch or by pulling on the door handle.
If desired, you can order the activation of the automatic locking function at one of the specialized service stations.
Attention. By fixing the doors, their unauthorized opening is prevented in emergency circumstances (traffic accident). Locked doors also prevent forcible entry into the vehicle from the outside, for example, when stopping at an intersection in front of a traffic light. On the other hand, however, locked doors make it difficult for rescuers to access the vehicle's interior to assist in traffic accidents - danger to life!
Note.
- In the event of a traffic accident. associated with the deployment of the airbag system, the doors are automatically unlocked to allow rescuers to enter the vehicle.
- In the event of a failure of the central locking system, only front doors equipped with lock cylinders can be opened with the key. The rest of the doors and the trunk lid can be manipulated manually.
